Facilities Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to join our team at a photomask manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing plant infrastructure and equipment, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, UPW Systems, Industrial Waste System, and HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot and Repair: Diagnose and resolve issues with plant machinery and equipment promptly.
• Monitor Systems: Continuously monitor critical systems to prevent downtime and ensure safety.
• Ensure Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and standards in all operations.

Knowledge / Experience:

• Minimum of five years of facilities experience in a clean room or industrial plant setting.
• Working knowledge of industrial HVAC and chemical exhaust systems.
• Experience with UPW and RO systems
• Expertise in electrical instrumentation.
• Familiarity with industrial, electrical, and clean room instrumentation protocols supporting manufacturing and administrative areas.
• Awareness of environmental, health, and safety processes, including fire protection systems, hazardous chemical handling, chemical spill cleanup, confined space entry, and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Certificate in Hazardous Materials Management is a plus.

• • Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to understand and work with mechanical systems and machinery.
  • Electrical Knowledge: Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical issues.
  • Plumbing Skills: Experience with plumbing systems and repairs
  • HVAC Expertise: Knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
  • Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS): Familiarity with CMMS for tracking maintenance activities
