Order Entry Specialist II
Purpose:
Responsible for supporting the customer service function by inputting all orders into the company's order processing system. Reviews the customer's order specifications to verify that all information is valid and adds any missing information that is necessary to complete the order. Performs limited customer service representative functions involving contacting the customer to notify them of any production issues or delays that may affect the product's status. Also works with Sales to relay specific and reoccurring customer requests and/or issues that could affect customer orders. May work in shifts and on weekends.
Knowledge/Experience:
- Minimum of three years related experience
- Sufficient skills level working with business teams
- Basic understanding of trouble shooting techniques and general systems knowledge
- Sufficient working knowledge of enterprise-wide business systems (i.e., Oracle, SAP)
- Vocational training required. Some college preferred.
